If you've been invited as a sitter on Sitter, here's what to expect.
Sitter is a messaging program of Grove Companies, LLC.
Sitter is a tool families use to coordinate babysitting requests with the people they already trust. If someone in your life uses Sitter and added you to their sitter list, you'll get a one-time text from them inviting you to opt in. Here's what that looks like.
Three messages, total.
The invitation text from the parent
It arrives as a normal text from the parent's own phone — not from Sitter.
Note: this text comes from the parent's own phone, not from Sitter.
The opt-in page
Tapping the link opens a one-page form on hellositter.app. Nothing is sent until you tap a button.
Hi Maya —
Sarah added you to The Smiths' sitter list on Sitter. If you tap yes, Sitter will text you when The Smiths need a sitter — event requests, confirmations, and reminders. You can opt out any time.
Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to opt out at any time.

What you receive after accepting
Going forward, you only hear from Sitter when the family actually needs a sitter.
You'll only get a text when the family actually needs a sitter.
You're always in control.
You can reply STOP to any message at any time, and you'll be removed from the campaign immediately — no further texts. You can also simply decline the original invite by tapping “No thanks” on the opt-in page; nothing happens unless you tap Yes, add me. Message and data rates may apply.
